This week, our HUB Highlights Artist Spotlight is John Pugh!

John Pugh is a proud Mississauga native with over 20 years of experience in the city’s vibrant theatre community. A seasoned music director, keyboardist, and accompanist, he has worked on more than 80 productions, known for his collaborative spirit and passion for musical storytelling.

Believing in theatre’s power to connect, John is dedicated to creating emotionally resonant work that uplifts both performers and audiences. His credits include The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Rocky Horror Show, Cabaret, The Secret Garden, and Rent.

John also curates musical theatre cabarets, spotlighting local talent alongside seasoned professionals. Upcoming projects include Finales: Broadway’s Greatest Showstoppers, Anastasia (Clarkson Music Theatre) and The Prom (City Centre Musical Productions) as part of the Encore Series.
